About me
I'm Sebastiaan Gorissen. I grew up in Wichelen and I'm a freelance digital marketer with SEB Digital.
As a kid I was shy and rarely took risks. Sporty, though, in my own way, and always crazy about computers and software. My dad Luc raced motocross for years, always with number 12. I was already standing by the track as a little boy, but he and my mum Catherine thought riding myself was far too dangerous.
At 18 I started racing anyway. I'd never had so much fun, until I crashed badly and spent months in rehab. A low point, but also the moment everything changed. I came out of my shell, trained a lot and became a lot more open. Later I earned my degree in graphic design.
On a friend's advice I sent my photos to model agencies all over the world. That became Paris, where I signed with MEN Model Management, with my agents Francis and Mathieu. Since then I've done runway and commercial work, the Paris and Milan fashion weeks, private shows for Prada and Marni and a campaign for Weekday.
My page at MEN Model ManagementWhen my back needed surgery again and I had to recover at home, I was looking for an income. I started helping family with their website and became fascinated by what lies behind marketing: what convinces someone to buy or to visit a business, and that way makes a customer. More clients came, word got around, and SEB Digital grew from a side business into my main job.
From the modelling world I bring an eye for images, for detail and for how big brands think into every project.
And yes, I race again. On a blue Yamaha, with my dad's number 12.
Nothing is a must, everything is possible.
